Synopsis

“With such a distinguished father, the son will surely do well.”

For a pair of father and son, it is difficult when they have different personalities, different ways of doing things, and even totally different life goals. The father, Chor Fan (Sunny Chan) is a man with virtues/morals from the 1960s, while his son, Chor Ci (Ron Ng) finds that his father is too slow when compared to others in the 21st Century. A comedy with time travel as an element, circumstances that had happened will not only leave a positive aftertaste, but also allows one to re-think the meaning behind, “Talent to become a powerful person overnight is not inborn. A good man should work hard and stand stronly on his own two feet.”

From the 21st century, Chor Ci goes back in time to the 1960s when his father was still young. The father and son become great brothers. Chor Fan shelters Chor Ci, where Chor Ci gets to know the stingy boss of a noodle stall Ko San Chuen (David Chiang), the fierce landlady Tam Lan Ching (Gigi Wong), argumentative lover Ching Lan Fun (Shirley Yeung), and the rich young lady Leung Pin Pin (Nancy Wu). Chor Ci offends many people and tends to not greet others. Therefore, he isn’t well liked by some neighbours, including the police sergeant Ngau Ching Wing (Louis Yuen). Chor Fan is the only one who protects Chor Ci and introduces him to work at a departmental store. However, the over ambitious Chor Ci often blames his father for being too old-fashioned and allows others to take advantage of him. Chor Ci almost causes many other neighbours to lose their homes.
