When Ah Kit (Roger Kwok) and his wife Ah Man (Claire Yiu) are finally together in Hong Kong, Ah Man’s past as a prostitute haunts them as she encounters triad leader Wu Kit Sum (Kenny Wong) who had once helped her. It also did not help that Ah Kit’s so-called friend Cheng Pak Yue (Raymond Cho) stopped at nothing to arrest Wu Sum in order to get his longed-for promotion. As bad stories spread quickly, Ah Kit and Ah Man are pressured by their surroundings. Although Ah Kit’s family remains supportive, Ah Kit never truly believes Ah Man. His actions and expressions showed the doubts in his heart, leading to a hurt Ah Man leaving to prevent him and their family from breaking.

While Ah Man is gone, Ah Kit receives help from his close friend On Kei, also known as Angel (Yoyo Mung) in taking care of his son. Through time, Ah Kit learns to have more confidence in himself in times of crisis. He is soon transferred to work under Mak Sir (John Chiang) and later promoted to I.O. Meanwhile, Angel develops feelings for Ah Kit after her second painful experience in breaking up with Ah Yue. Before she could ever express her feelings, Ah Man returns. Although Ah Man is back to ask for divorce, Ah Kit is keen on making it up with her and reuniting his family. Ah Man refuses at first but is later moved by Ah Kit’s persistence and sincerity. Their family is together again, but no happiness in life lasts forever …

Mak Kai Ming (John Chiang) is the IO of the Special Investigation Unit with Connie Ching Pui Ka (Queenie Chu) and Roy Hon Wing Nin (Ellesmere Choi) working under him. They cooperate with the Airport Control Station to successfully solve a case of fake travel document syndicates. After questioning the suspects, Ah Ka reminds Mak Sir that his wife (Yvonne Lam) had been elected as chairwoman of the Women’s Club and the inauguration ceremony would be held that night. Ah Ka and Ah Nin assure him that they would take care of the rest and urge him to go. Mak Sir arrives at the ceremony but does not socialize well with the guests. His son Tze Hin (Benny Chan Chin Pang) saves him by presenting a glass vase to his mom. While his wife gives her speech, Mak Sir gets a phone call and leaves. His wife is flustered and they argue at home. Through the conversation, Mak Sir finds out that his son would be opening a PR company soon but Ah Hin avoids the topic and leaves.

Conceal (掩飾) by Roger Kwok and Patrick Tang – Show ▼

Fong Tsun Kit (Roger Kwok) is a Chief Immigration Assistant working at the Immigration Department Lo Wu Control Station. He deals with cases of fake passports and visas when they may arise and decides whether a traveler should be allowed to pass from Mainland into Hong Kong. His best friend Leung Chi Lun (Power Chan) catches a suspicious traveler and Kit questions the traveler in a private room. The traveler says he is going to Hong Kong for sightseeing but when he tells Kit Tseung Kwan O city is one of the hotspots, Kit goes to his supervisor and requests a rejection. While the traveler leaves, he drops his backpack and reveals a screwdriver, which immediately tells Kit that the traveler was actually coming to Hong Kong to take on a job without a working permit.
